Sherry Chris, CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, talks with Robert Reiss about a new market in the residential real estate industry, the rapidly growing demographic comprised of “Echo-Boomers”. Chris further talks about the great changes in the real estate broker’s role because of the changes in life style, which put the consumer in control of information gathering. These changes, Chris relates, have motivated the adoption of new communications technologies, shifts in the focus of training, and the use of specialized software to help the consumer. Later in the interview, Chris discusses the attributes of the best brokers and offers advice about what makes a top CEO.
